Pin Comments

Problem Important or authoritative comments get lost in chronological order, making it hard for users to find official answers, summaries, or frequently referenced notes at a glance. Proposed solution Add the ability for moderators and/or post authors to pin one or more comments to the top of the comments list within the widget. Expected behavior Pinned comments appear in a dedicated section at the top of the comments list, visually distinguished from regular comments. Pinned comments remain above all other comments regardless of posting time. Support multiple pinned comments shown in a defined order (e.g., manual ordering or by pin timestamp). Include a simple UI control for pinning/unpinning and a permission check so only authorized users can pin. Use cases / Benefits Highlight official responses, clarifications, or important instructions so they are immediately visible to users. Surface frequently referenced or high-signal comments (e.g., workarounds, status updates) without relying on users to scroll. Reduce duplicate questions by making the preferred answer prominent. This feature should be configurable (who can pin, how many pins) and keep the widget accessible and uncluttered.
